Drug Development Resources, Inc. names Biotech
veteran Daniel T. Madden as Vice President of Software Solutions
Boston, MASS, December 2nd, 2002 Drug Development Resources,
Inc. (DDR) is pleased to announce that Daniel T. Madden has joined
their firm as Vice President of Software Solutions.
Mr. Madden joins Drug Development Resources after having spent
over six years as Associate Director of Business Systems at Biogen,
Inc. While at Biogen Dan and his team were responsible for the implementation
and ongoing support of Biogen's business system portfolio. These
systems included; ERP, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Clinical, Sales
& Marketing and Customer Service systems. Dan represented IT
as a key member of the launch teams for the US, Canadian, and European
launches of Avonex®. Most recently Dan led a global upgrade/implementation
of Oracle 11i (ERP) at Biogen.
Jerry Boudreault, founder and President of DDR said, "Dan's
experience on the Avonex® launch team at Biogen provides him
with a detailed understanding of what it takes to transform a drug
development company into a successful operating company competing
in global markets. DDR is dedicated to improving the productivity
of the drug development process to help our clients get their products
to market faster and we find that productivity enhancing software
tools are underutilized by most of our clients. In his new role,
Dan will draw upon his excellent balance of business and system
knowledge to deliver "right sized" solutions to our clients.
We are very pleased to have Dan on the DDR team."
